“Matured in 25% new oak. Tasted shortly after it was bottled, but gee it looked good. A more restrained, tighter style, although certainly full of vibrant fruit. It has come together well. Cherry and red plums, peppery and powered ginger in the mix, citrus peel and licorice root. Savoury through and through. Fuller bodied, with lots of detail across the palate, led by finely chiselled tannins. 95 Points.” Jane Faulkner, Halliday Wine Companion, August 2021
